Directions to Lyran Park

Lyran Park is a privately owned facility located on the Kishwaukee River and Kilbuck Creek at:
4781 S. Bend Rd.
Rockford, IL 61109

From Chicago South Side, the Southern Chicago Suburbs and South
1. Take Interstate 290 west to Interstate 88 west
2. Take Interstate 88 west to Interstate 39 north
3. Take the Baxter Road exit on I-39 and go left (west).
4. Continue on Baxter Road until it becomes South Bend Road. The park is 6 miles west of the interstate.

From Chicago, the Chicago North Suburbs and East
1. Take Interstate 90 West.
2. Get off at the IL 20 Exit in Rockford
3. Take IL 20 West to IL 2 South
4. Go straight through the light and over the river to Airport Drive and go right.
5. Take a left on South Bend Road. Park is 1/4 mile down the road.

From Wisconsin and the North
1. Take Interstate 90 south
2. Get off at the IL 20 Exit in Rockford
3. Take IL 20 West to IL 2 South
4. Go straight through the light and over the river to Airport Drive and go right.
5. Take a left on South Bend Road. Park is 1/4 mile down the road.

From Dubuque, Iowa and West
1. Take IL 20 East
2. Exit for IL 2 South
3. Go straight through the light and over the river to Airport Drive and go right.
4. Take a left on South Bend Road. Park is 1/4 mile down the road.

From the Quad Cities and Southwest
1. Take Interstate 88 East
2a. Highway choice: Continue on Interstate 88 to Interstate 39 and go north. Take the Baxter Road exit on I-39 and go left (west). Continue on Baxter Road until it becomes South Bend Road. The park is 6 miles west of the interstate.
2b. Some local roads choice through Byron: Exit Interstate 88 in Dixon. Take IL 26/GAlena Avenue north into Dixon. Go right on IL 2. Take Il 2 to Byron, about 25 miles. Once in Byron, go right at the light over the bridge on IL 72/Union St and go left on IL 72 east. Follow 72 east 1.3 miles to Kishwaukee Road. Go on Kishwaukee Road 6.7 miles to South Bend Road. Go right and the park is 1/4 mile down South Bend Rd.

The park is 8 miles from Byron, the former location of the festival.
